Abstract

Measuring Time-to-Event: Introduction to Survival Analysis

Survival analysis is a branch of statistics used to analyze the timing of events, such as unemployment, drop-out or graduation from school, or the onset of youth substance use.

This presentation will provide an introduction to survival analysis and a demonstration of survival analysis using empirical data in the R statistical software program.

Research Assistant Professor, Nebraska Academy of Methodology, Analytics and Psychometrics

Kejin Lee is a research assistant professor at the Nebraska Academy of Methodology, Analytics and Psychometrics at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Her research interests include meta-analysis, structural equation modeling, longitudinal data analysis, meta-analytic structural equation modeling and multivariate multilevel meta-analysis.
