Abstract
This presentation will describe foundational concepts in implementation science and apply these concepts to promote adoption and sustained implementation of interventions in schools. Schoolwide applications will be emphasized, as well as more targeted approaches for students who would benefit from individualized supports.
Implementation science concepts relevant for a school-community integrated model will be discussed.

Andy Garbacz
Associate Professor, Educational Psychology, and Co-director, School Psychology Program-Department of Educational Psychology, University of Wisconsin
Andy Garbacz is an associate professor of educational psychology and co-director of the School Psychology Program in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin. He earned his doctorate from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools and the Munroe-Meyer Institute at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Garbacz is a licensed psychologist and a nationally certified school psychologist, and serves as director for the Prevention, Intervention and Enhancement Graduate Training Program.
His research focuses on mental health promotion.
