Carrie Clark, Ph.D.
Associate Professor, Educational Psychology
Carrie Clark is an associate professor of educational psychology. She focuses on the development of executive function and self-regulation, particularly during early childhood, and conducts research to determine how perinatal and early caregiving experiences shape children’s developmental pathways for self-regulation. Clark also explores how aspects of self-regulation — including cognitive control, emotion regulation strategies, reflection and metacognition — contribute to learning and academic achievement, particularly in the area of mathematics.
Clark earned her Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Amanda Prokasky, Ph.D.
Senior Research Specialist, MAP Academy
Amanda Prokasky is a senior research specialist at the MAP Academy. She provides analytical, methodological and data management support for a variety of projects in the MAP Academy, and has expertise in quantitative methods, project management and program evaluation. Her research interests include family economics and poverty, early childhood and family policy, childcare quality, access and affordability, and child sleep and temperament.
Prokasky earned her Ph.D. in human sciences, with a specialization in child development/early childhood education, at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
